were not meant to be broken….
I am so blessed with a studio and no time to use it so this week, I am starting a new structured me! First, I am keeping my facebook account but not going to use it until September. It is very addictive but I waste alot of time, I enjoy alot of it but I need to be more structured!
1. Monday will be outside day — today I mowed and weedwack for three and one half hours and dragged the carpet remenant thru the sand burs, did not work, so I mowed them down really good and then ran my bagger mower thru it all and picked them up. I weedwacked all around the studio and mowed the front lawn, broke my belt but have one, Don can put it on after work.
2. This afternoon I have one errand (Target) and the rest of the day will be laundry and cleaning.
3. Tuesdays will be house cleaning day — ALL DAY
4. Wednesday (every week) will be 7-4 at my studio — this really will help me enjoy my studio and get some orders filled and work done and get ready to make things for Christmas
5. Thursday will be outdoor yard work again!
6. Friday will be play day or Cleaning day depending on the needs of my home at the time!
I need structure — will fit it The Quilt Haus as well so I can get work done there!
It has been wonderful seeing old friends and meeting new!
I am so excited! Tonight we have lasagne in the oven, zucchini (from my garden) bread in the oven, french bread about to go in the oven, dessert all with our oldest and his beautiful family for my birthday….I am honored to be their Nana/Step Mother (actually they never make me feel like a stepmother, never!). God is good!
there is much sadness when families fall apart…
Don and I are putting the top on the garden this morning! He gave up golf to do this!!!
is my version of the candy store. Today I got four books:
1. Smithsonians Book on Butterflies and Moths
2. A pocket guide to Insects
and for reading novels:
3. The Secret Life of Bees
4. The Vintage Affair
I can hardly wait until I wake up in the morning….I am sleepy now!

So wonderful, my flowers and vegetables thank you!
Did you know that the charger (plugged in to the outlet) sitting on your counter while your phone is in your purse is still drawing power? I read this this morning in our Power company’s co-op magazine. I think I need to really take a good look around to conserve energy! Knowledge “is” power!! Thank you Pedernales Power Company!
