New Orleans Saints
Although my husband and I are Bears (he) and Redskins (me), we celebrated a fabulous New Orleans Saints win for our DIL (she is from New Orleans) and our middle son. GEAUX SAINTS GEAUX

Do you get excited over mundane things? I was in HEB (our local grocery store) and was checking off my list when I came across paper towels with Roosters on them. Normally, I do get excited over all the fun things our “grocers” are carrying now. But this really sent me to higher glee, because my kitchen is decorated in Tuscany. I love it! I do use cloth napkins with company and in most cases with setting my dining room table (something my Mother did) but I love having the paper product as well for quick lunches. Yay Bounty!!
Dinnerware is from Tuesday Morning — Red Willow, Champagne glasses are from Indiana University (my dh’s college), large red wine glasses are from Hobby Lobby (gift), Valentine’s Plate is from an auction years ago. Candle Vase and stands are from Southern Living At Home. Tea Jars are antique jars I purchased at an outdoor Antique Flea Market in Japan. Tea Pots were gifts from Tuesday Morning. Little Valentine people were made on my embroidery machine and are from Moose Bstitchin, purchased several years ago. I love decorating my table!

I
Judy, I love the 45 things, especially number 17!! My goal! We have way too much stuff, I am downsizing my stuff and staying the same size in my house!
Even when it is not. Don and I are sitting by the fireplace with the a good fire roaring in the fireplace taking the little bit of chill we have away. We have been chatting about our plans for the Spring and are so excited. I could spend days outside in God’s glory! I think this wonderful Man I married is loving being out here!

2. When in doubt, just take the next small step.
3. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.
4. Your job won’t take care of you when you are sick. Your friends and parents will. Stay in touch.
5. Pay off your credit cards every month.
6. You don’t have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.

23. Be eccentric now. Don’t wait for old age to wear purple.
24. The most important sex organ is the brain.
25. No one is in charge of your happiness but you.
26. Frame every so-called disaster with these words ‘In five years, will this matter?’

35. Don’t audit life. Show up and make the most of it now.
36. Growing old beats the alternative — dying young.
37. Your children get only one childhood.
38. All that truly matters in the end is that you loved.
39. Get outside every day. Miracles are waiting everywhere.
40. If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else’s, we’d grab ours back.

43. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.
44. Yield.
45. Life isn’t tied with a bow, but it’s still a gift.”

I left early this morning to UT Health Science Center for my Drs. Appt. I was so excited to pick Nana up for lunch but soon after I picked her up, she broke the news that her sweet husband, after 4 heart attacks and everything he has been thru, has Cancer. My heart just sank and I hugged her tightly. I think about my own husband and how precious he is to me. Please pray for both of them! We did enjoy our lunch at Mongolian BBQ and then I took her for a stroll thru The Rose Emporium. It was not very pretty but it was 61 degrees and the fresh air was good for both of us! I purchased Bluebonnet seeds and Artichoke plants for early spring!
I stopped in to see my friend Nancy. She is home recovering from a sudden illness. It is always good to talk with her, she is a good Listener and Friend.
Thanks Big Sis for caring about me today, I love you. My sweet husband reminded me of the 45 things to live by and that I will…
I was so tickled to meet up with my DIL and ride with her to pick up Josh and Hannah. The surprised looks on both their faces was priceless. I stayed long enough to see Michael and he played something new on his piano for me. He is so precious. Hannah blocked the door and told me that Papa could take care of the cat and feed himself. She is so funny. The best part of the day was meeting my husband in Gruene for dinner and he brought great news about his MRI, God is truly good!
Yesterday I visited Options for Women, a beautiful place for women who have other options than Abortion. I left the place in tears. The staff was wonderful and so appreciative of the 21 Zoo Animals Galyn and I delivered for inclusion in the Layette Kits that the women receive when their babies arrive. God is working thru these women and I promised to be back to help out! More animals are in the making, God is Great!
