Walked 2.64 miles, at a maximum of 4.0 mph, burning 247 calories in 50:54 minutes climbing 262 yards!

So where are all the “Save the Gulf” concerts? Where are the T.V. Benefits with celebrities and musicians giving heart felt speeches on the poor fisherman, wildlife, beaches, loss of income and sabotaged gulf economy? I find it rather strange how these people (including our own government) are so quick to help Haiti and other countries..but sit on their behinds for this one.

I have fallen in love with orange!! The flower arrangement from Kirklands on sale for $10, strawberries from antique shop about 15 years ago, Blue Willow dishes, Tuesday Morning, about ten years ago, Coffee Pot and creamer/sugars and Tea Jar from Tokyo, Japan and Hong Kong on one of my shopping trips at duty free shops, ruffled placemats from Tuesday Morning and black tray with fleur-de-lis is from what used to be called “Southern Living At Home” but has changed their name to “Willow House”!

and mowed the new front lawn by 9:15am!!

I find that writing down all I have to accomplish helps me to get most of it done. Today is the first mowing day for our new grass. In between that and watering it in, I will walk my three miles and return to plant some things that are barely living in their pots, sad…not enough time to accomplish everything!

Today is my granddaughter, Madalin, 1st birthday! I was so thrilled to be able to love on her and kiss her and play with her. She is so precious, looks just like her Daddy! Aunt Susan got some sugar too!

We celebrated Don and Chris’ birthdays on Saturdays — we had so much fun playing Yahtzee and getting in the hot tub! Sunday morning we all went down to the river and the kids had a blast shooting water guns at each other and sometimes us! I love family time!

the sacrifices our men and women have done to keep us free! Thank you, all of you, and especially to my wonderful husband for his 26 years of military service and his extra ten that he has served with the US government since then….you are my hero!
