Pamie G.'s Backyard

This is day three of delaying for our porch floors to be done….I am getting tired of this! Believe it or not…no starting, just power washing. Waited all day yesterday, nothing. Got a call from the owner at 4pm that they were on their way. Got a call from their office this morning that the owner was on his way to our house? He explained that they went to the wrong site!!! He apologized for everything and said they would start fresh on Tuesday. I said thanks but I could have gone to my granddaughter’s preschool graduation, I am so bummed! He could have just called first but he just left, he felt like he needed to be here in person.

I just got home from five days in Minnesota at a tradeshow. I am tired and have to catch up at home. Yesterday was my dh’s birthday, we went to The Grist Mill and I gave him two golf shirts! He really liked them! Looking forward to the weekend to celebrate our oldest son and my husband’s birthday together!

We had a lovely Linner (lunch and dinner) impromptu with Chris, Susan and the kids! We are so excited about Chris’ school endeavors and their journey to have their first home built! It’s going to fabulous, especially with a new baby! O Happy Day!

All three of “our” sons either came by or called today. I don’t think they have any idea how much it meant to me! I truly feel loved. Thank you God!

I am feeling the need to see the ocean and walk in the sand….don’t think it is in the works this summer…I will miss you, sweet ocean….

It has been a very busy week with dh being home a day to work in the yard. Today is my stamping group and I finally get to rest. The best part about this day is Michael, Josh and Hannah are coming to hang out with Don and I. We really enjoy it when they come. I am getting the chocolate chip cookie dough ready!

I go to the bathroom several times a day so…I have decided to place my project book on the little bench in my powder room with the page open to the next project I want to do. This works great!!! I think about it more often and get the project under way in a good timely manner! Yay…great bathroom assistance! Have a great day!
