Texas Bound

March 4th, 2010 Posted in Welcome to Blogging with Pamie G.

For the last two weeks Florida has been my home away from home. I salute all you wonderful Floridians, my goodness…such good people and fabulous hospitality, God bless you all and keep the hurricanes away! My husband had two weeks of business in Pensacola and Fort Walton Beach, the weather was cold, sometimes rainy and maybe two days of sunshine. He was so apologetic but I told him that your beaches were heavenly, peaceful, and I shared it with few over the last two weeks. Thank you for your generosity, I love your white sugar sands and emerald water. Peace….

American Girl Skirt

I am practicing my knitting on 18″ doll size patterns which gives me a quicker satisfaction. I made this adorable skirt in my hotel room last night. I will have to make some of these for my granddaughters’ dolls.

Bird Watching

February 15th, 2010 Posted in Welcome to Blogging with Pamie G.

At the risk of making yet another blog for birding, I think it best to discuss birds here, lol. Another blogger and fellowette neighbor is on the Audubon Birding Watching Counter committee and I have been reading each day her counts and I quickly run to my feeder to see if I, too have those birds. It was yesterday while I was watching five deer graze in my front that a friendly little puffed out bird showed up right in front of my window. I ran and got my book and it appears a “Junco” came to visit, how lovely!

Lovely Sunny Holiday

February 15th, 2010 Posted in Welcome to Blogging with Pamie G.

Don and I both have colds, Don is worse than I but that is okay. The sun is shining!! As soon as I pick up the house a little, I am headed down to the studio to work on some Easter things for my little granddaughters. Hannah helped me pick out designs for all the girls yesterday, she is so sweet and so into the processing of embroidery and sewing. I think this will be a good year to teach her. I will start looking for a little machine for her that is kid friendly and basic just for straight line sewing and easy construction techniques. What do you think about age 6? Have a great day my friends!
